Tried to call the number that I was given on her response and repeatedly got the “mail box is full and not accepting new messages” automated reply. Got an automatic response that they got the email and would review the claim. Seems like a reasonable request so on the same day I got a letter from the courthouse and emailed it to Kiara American Claims Management. A day later (early November) I got an email from American Claims Management (Kiara Jimenez) asking for proof of Jury duty. Went to vail/Epic Ski Pass website to file a refund request for the $1,300 they charged for 4 passes. I had the fun chore of cancelling all my reservations. I tried to work it out with the courts to get an excusal for this (and other preplanned business related trips) and was denied. At the end of September I got summonsed to Jury Duty to run from beginning of October thru the end of December. Well their recent reviews and my personal experience will show you their is no coverage and the company will do anything they can to avoid covering your loss. Looking at all the things covered makes you feel secure.

The ski passes came with their travel insurance they call Epic Coverage. We wanted to go to Breckinridge over the Christmas break and so in early September I got reservations for lodging at Beaver Run, reserved ski’s at Christy Sports, and got four 3 day ski passes from Vail/Epic.

This is absolutely the worst company we ever have had the displeasure of doing business.
